Hsin-Chu, Taiwan – June 13,
2006 - Accton Technology's board of directors today reelected
Mr. Yimin Doo, the current chairman of the board to another
three year term. Mr. Doo will continue to lead Accton to take
on any new challenges in the networking market.
Accton also announced the appointment of
the new president, Mr. Ken Lu. Ken was a co-founder of Accton
and was senior vice president in charge of R&D. Prior
to founding Accton, he was a manager with the Electronics
Research Service Organization (ERSO) at the Industrial Technology
Research Institute for seven years. Ken holds a masters degree
in electrical engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
He has helped Accton to receive numerous prestigious product
innovation awards through out his career.
Accepting his nomination as president of
Accton Technology, Ken says that Accton will continue to maintain
its position as a leader in the enterprise network market.
It will also begin to develop and bring competitive products
to both metro/access network and internet multi-media communication
markets.
