today announced its cooperation with one of the Japanese 1st
tier Telecom system providers to introduce the Next-Generation
Carrier-class Ethernet Switch for the Telecom and mobile operators.
Through the partnership and the reliable and outstanding product
design, Accton and its partner were successfully selected
out of the competitions and won a contract from one Japanese
3G digital mobile operator.

ASF3528, 28 port point-to-point Fiber Switch
with 2 Gigabit combo ports for uplink/Stacking and 2 expansion
slots for universal applications
ASV3528, 28-port VDSL2 Switches with 2 Gigabit
combo ports for uplink/stacking and 2 expansion slots for
universal applications
The expansion slots are available for different
requirement – Dual PON module, Single PON module, Dual GE
Combo module and Single GE Combo module to provide the flexible
implementation.
In addition to Japan, Accton Carrrier-Class Switches have
been trial in Brazil, Russia, Europe and North America.
