Free AIoT Application Workshop Engages Accton Employees’ Adolescent Children

Empowering the Next Generation with Hands-On AIoT Learning Experience 👩🏻‍🏫

During the winter break in February 2023,

Accton collaborated with the Accton – Cheng Kung University Joint Research Center and Yang Ming Chiao Tung University to launch a practical course combining AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) and smart IoT (Internet of Things) software development. This course aims to cultivate talent starting from the high school level, inspiring students’ interest in programming languages and AIoT through the curriculum, and providing them with hands-on experience of smart agriculture’s new technologies in practical agricultural scenarios.

The course curriculum integrates the popular university-level programming pre-test course in recent years,

guiding students to learn to program and leading them to Yang Ming Chiao Tung University’s non-toxic smart farm. Students will have firsthand experience of how technology disrupts the traditional role of farmers and how technology is applied in the field of agriculture. By incorporating practical application scenarios, the software course aims to enliven the learning process and stimulate students’ imagination, innovation, and limitless potential in the field of AIoT applications.

This collaborative project aims to encourage more young students to engage in learning and applying AIoT,

providing them with opportunities to become experts in the future of IoT technology and smart agriculture. Accton looks forward to working together with the education sector to cultivate more advanced software talents in the field of Internet innovation and to nurture the seeds of Internet innovation. This experimental collaborative model not only promotes close interaction between the industry and academia but also allows software talents to begin to sprout in their teenage years, contributing to sustainable talent development initiatives.
