Accton Officially Launched its Low-carbon Transformation Project in 2023

Accton aims to decrease carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, showing its dedication to reducing carbon and supporting the global climate change initiative. Accton collaborates with supply chain partners by optimizing internal processes and innovating product design to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Accton Has Received “Carbon Reduction Subsidies” from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Implemented a Zero-carbon Supply Chain Project

In September 2023, Accton was honored to receive the “Large Enterprises Leading Smaller Companies to Carbon Reduction and Smart Upgrading Transformation Subsidies” from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Accton joined hands with ten suppliers to work together and achieve energy-saving and carbon reduction goals, striving towards environmental sustainability.

The zero-carbon supply chain project will promote green product design and local supply optimization. Accton also established the “Accton Academy of Sustainability” to assist suppliers in implementing practical energy-saving and carbon-reduction actions. Accton aims to prioritize green procurement and plans to adopt a carbon pricing management system to drive green upgrading of global supply chains.

Established the Accton Academy of Sustainability, Joining Hands with Supply Chain Partners to Demonstrate the Impact of Carbon Reduction

To further strengthen the effect of energy-saving and carbon reduction, the “Accton Academy of Sustainability” integrates resources to assist supply chain and industry partners in achieving these goals, joining forces to amplify the impact of sustainability.

Accton Academy of Sustainability not only provides training, but also offers carbon-reduction tools and experience sharing. These measures include formulating energy-saving and carbon-reduction inspection reports and inviting experienced lecturers to share practical energy-saving experiences. Through these actions, we expect to deeply embed the concept of carbon reduction in the daily operations of suppliers, encourage the formation of carbon reduction habits, and exert a broader carbon reduction impact.

By the end of 2023, the ten participating suppliers had completed the training courses and presented their respective net-zero carbon emission roadmaps. In 2024, we will conduct energy management online courses, continuously driving carbon reduction progress, deepening suppliers’ carbon reduction concepts and actions, and jointly demonstrating ESG achievements in the future.

Accton is not just a technology leader but also an innovator in green practices. With limitless creativity and unwavering conviction, we are at the forefront of upcoming trends and strive to be an industry example for corporate sustainability. We aim to build a green, intelligent, and sustainable future with our supply chain partners!
