HSINCHU, Taiwan, May 9, 2014 – Accton Technology Corporation (Accton) (TWSE: 2345), a premier provider of communication solutions, today reported the financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2014. The consolidated sales revenue for first quarter was NT$5.25 billion, net income was NT$189 million, and NT$0.36 per share.
The consolidated sales revenue for the first quarter of 2014 was NT$5.25 billion, a decrease of 12.71% compared to the fourth quarter of 2013, and increase 8.39% year-on-year. The company net income for the first quarter of 2014 was NT$189 million, an increase of 19.92% compare to the fourth quarter of 2013, and increase 172.4% year-on-year.
The percentage of sales for each product line for the first quarter of 2014 is 79.8 percent for switch, 13.3 percent for WLAN, 2.2 percent for broadband & gateway, and 4.7 percent for others.
