Accton Receives Fujitsu Distinguished Partner Award
Fujitsu select Accton as one of their top six suppliers out of over 600 worldwide
Hsinchu, Taiwan – October 3, 2014 – Accton Technology Corporation (Accton) (TWSE: 2345), a premier provider of networking and communications solutions, today announced that it has received the prestigious Distinguished Partner Award from Fujitsu Telecom Networks Limited (Fujitsu). The Distinguished Partner Award honors Fujitsu’s top-performing suppliers, specifically acknowledging companies that demonstrate true partnership and excellence.
The award was particularly in recognition of Accton’s outstanding cooperation in developing and producing the Fujitsu FW2440 Series Gigabit Ethernet switch. Fujitsu were greatly impressed by the high quality in the FW2440 Series design, as well as the production flexibility in meeting market requirements. The Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch was extremely successful, being widely deployed by domestic carriers in their 3G/Wi-Fi and LTE networks. The FW2440 Series main design features include ultra-low power consumption, environmentally robust construction, and a highly compact enclosure.
In addition, the FW2441 from the product family was awarded the “Eco ICT Award 2013” by Japan’s IT Domain Ecology Guideline Council, achieving their 5-star standard.
Fujitsu expressed their deepest appreciation to Accton’s departments and people for their dedication in the collaboration on the FW2440 Series, and for the high quality and flexibility in the production up-side arrangement.
