In Response to the Green Procurement Policy, Accton Zhunan Actively Fulfills Corporate Environmental Responsibility
Accton is dedicated to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals and integrating sustainable development actions into our business operations. In 2023, Accton Zhunan actively complied with the government’s green procurement policy and was recognized with the “Green Procurement Excellence Award” from the Environment Protection Administration. Additionally, the company also received the “Outstanding Achievement Award in Green Procurement by Civil Enterprises and Organizations in Miaoli Country.”
In order to protect the environment and make responsible choices, Accton Zhunan adopts green consumption practices. We recognize that Earth’s resources are limited, so we carefully select products with environmental certifications endorsed by the Environment Protection Administration when purchasing packaging materials, office supplies, office equipment, and electrical appliances. These certifications include FSC, PEFC, Energy Star, water-saving labels, energy-saving labels, and more. Our goal is to reduce energy and resource consumption, fulfill our corporate responsibility towards environmental protection, and support the growth of the green industry through our procurement actions.
Receiving this award is an affirmation of our environmental initiatives. In the future, we will actively implement environmental protection and management policies, balance environmental and economic development, fulfill corporate social responsibilities, and contribute to efforts for the sustainable future of the Earth and humanity.
Accton Zhunan implemented green procurement and was honored by the Environmental Protection Administration in 2023, also receiving the “Outstanding Achievement Award in Green Procurement by Civil Enterprises and Organizations in Miaoli County.”

The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) is a worldwide non-governmental organization that aims to promote sustainable management and use of forest resources. The organization utilizes a third-party certification mechanism to ensure that forestry management, wood sourcing, and production of goods take into account key factors such as forest sustainability, biodiversity, social and economic development, and legal compliance. PEFC certification covers various product categories including wood and wood products, paper and paper products, construction and packaging materials, and other wood products.

Green Mark
|
The national-level environmental certification in Taiwan requires products to meet the criteria of “recyclability, low pollution, and resource conservation.” Currently, the certification covers 14 major categories and over 100 items. Only the top 20% to 30% of environmentally best-performing products within each category are eligible to receive this certification.

The label promoted by the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan encourages consumers to choose water-saving products and prompts manufacturers to develop water-efficient products, aiming to achieve the goal of conserving water resources. The label is divided into two levels: Standard and Gold. |

Energy Label
|
The label launched by the Energy Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan indicates that products with this label are 10-50% more energy-efficient than national standards.
